THE BEST PATH
(6th September 2010)

Time that no longer mine
Is coming closer with the willingness to return
Happiness that had waved goodbye to me
Has vowed once again to stay forever

Shall I embrace the opportunity,
and give them a second chance to change my life?
While sadness might still wait for me
Behind the closed door

I’m not going to rush into an instant decision
Even I no longer want to spend the rest of my life in sorrow
So I look up to God for guidance
And I believe that His way is the best path I can choose

Poems Inspired By A Friend

A CHANCE TO LOVE AGAIN
(24th August 2010)

Still fresh in my mind
Even years had passed by

One unforgettable sad day in April
When the love of my life flown with his new wings to Heaven

Felt like my entire world crumbled
And the door of happiness were closed forever

But I thank God for giving me strength
To walk through it until today

And found that I might lost one love
But get a lot of it from those who dearly loves me

I leave my future in God’s hand
My Lord know what’s best for me

But one wish I have in heart
May one day I get a chance to love again

THE SMILE OF MY ANGELS
(28th August 2010)

I’m a woman, but I struggle alone more than a man
To survive every storm that comes to my life

Tears and pain that I feel mean nothing
Compared with the happiness I get in return

I will do anything and give the best of me
Only for the smile of my angels

LEAVING UNFULFILLED PROMISES BEHIND
(4th August 2010)

Our love had ended and died
Just like a tree that had been strike by a lightning

For the oath that we’ve said before
No longer echoed in the deepest part of your heart

The place that we once called home
Now barely an abandoned house with empty rooms

Without any burdens you walked away from my life
Leaving unfulfilled promises behind

AN INHERITANCE
(28th July 2010)

When the last stick of wood
In the fire place turn into charcoal
And the night returns to its origin black
You’ll be far away across the river

On your horse you go, heading north
Carrying a dream of freedom
That you keep in your selfish mind
Along with your offended pride

No other thing that I have now
That can reminds me of you
Other than sad and jaded
That you had given me as an inheritance

Poem Inspired By Rani Mukherjee's Movies

Rani Mukherjee is one of my favorite Bollywood actress, and the poem below inspired by her movie, hope you'll enjoy it

A SACRIFICE OF LOVE
(23rd November 2009)

those pretty eyes kept so many tears
that only will be spilled at night on her pillow

a heavy burden she brought from “Banaras” to “Mumbai”
forced her to live in the path of sin

for three beloved souls she sacrifice herself
only God knows what she had been through

finally an unexpected true love came to her
and bring her happiness that renew her entire life

ERASING THE PAST
(14th June 2010)

Finally…
I’m letting go of the memory
That I’ve kept for fifteen years

No more tears to spilled
As the feeling had faded away
Hundreds days before today

From now on there’ll be only the future
Coz the past had been erased
Until the last page

UNDENIABLE LOSS
(24th June 2010)

I sing to myself to ease the pain
That had settled in my heart
But my song lost its rhymes

I see your shadow
Passed through that corridor
But it faded so fast and blends with the air

I try to deny that nothing had changed
After you’ve gone
But this loss is undeniable

ONE TICKET TO HEAVEN
(9th August 2005)

If there’s ever a lottery
And the prize is one ticket to heaven
I will surely try to win it
Maybe by that I can see you again

Because I know I’m a sinner
And if I die I will not be placed in heaven
So I’m afraid that we will not meet
If that day finally come to me

I realize that is just a wishful thinking
And it’s so impossible to happen
But I think you will be okay up there
Cause God surely loves you more than I do

(Note: dedicated to Mom that passed away 13th July 2005)

FROZEN HEART
(19th December 2005)

I watch the show fall through my window
Even I’m shield by these square walls
Somehow the winter wind could froze my heart

The warmth of a fireplace could not melt the ice
It even gets harder and colder everyday
Everything started when you walked out of that door

You took away the happiness and laughter in your backpack
And you destroyed all hopes with your footsteps
My spirit had also died by the slamming of the door

NO LONGER ALIVE
(19th April 2006)

How can I say that I can’t life without you?
While a part of me had already died
From the time I found out your adultery

There’s no difference between life and death
Both are like bitter fruits
That harvested from the field of misery

So even if you go away
It will not change anything at all
As I am no longer alive
****

THE ONE YOU SEE
(20th April 2006)

Even I stand alone in front of you
I’m always invisible for your eyes

There are hundreds of imaginary crowds
That covers your sight like a wall

So this love that I feel for you
Will be unspoken forever

How can I hope you to love me?
If I never be the one you see

AUTUMN IN FEBRUARY
(13th February 2008)

Leaves started to fall off my tree of trust
Tears leak out from the pipe of promises
Sad sonata chirped by a crow
That sits on my heart’s window

Sadness is the color of the day I passed
While gloom is the clothe I wear
One extraordinary season in February
It only happen in my world
****

DAYS WITHOUT LIGHT
(20th March 2009)

The amber saree that I wear on the day you left
Had witness my infirmity heart

Every falling leaves of banyan tree outside Lord Krishna’s temple
Follow your step out of my heart

Have I taken away your freedom,
Since you put the holy Mangalsutra around my neck?

Why should you put an end to this wedlock
That holds us together?

From today I will have days without light and night without dreams
As the lantern of my life had burnt out

“Mera dil ka Raja”, I will wait for your return with the fullest of my heart
Until the day have no sun and the sky have no cloud.

A SECOND CHANCE
(22nd October 2009)

Her eyes gaze at the empty room
While her mind travel far away

Out of the space that surrounds her
To a distance place that I don’t know where

Longing for love and comfort
That had slipped away from the grasp of her hand

Still waiting with desperation
To be granted a second chance in life
****

TOGETHER ONCE MORE
(21st March 2010)

my precious diamonds
these eyes of mine are desperate to see your faces
while these arms are dying to hold both of you like in the past

since the separation day
with the man I had ever called husband
my right to be a mother had been taken away

I will never forget you my children
for both of you are also a part of my soul that I carry in me

I’m waiting for the day when my prayers would be answered
and we could be together once more

POEM FROM THE WEST
(11th June 2010)

Your Daddy always came home drunk from the saloon
While your Mommy cried under the feed of The Crossed Lord
Each time she visited the Church

In my side
I never have a peaceful sleep anymore
After you’ve gone and left us with broken hearts

This old town is getting so unbearable to live in
Because the memory of you scattered everywhere
As far as the eye could see

I wonder will you ever return
after the anger flame died?
No one seems to have the answer to my question

If one day God send you back home
Than I could see you again riding your horse across the prairie
When the sun is ready to set
